Welcome to El Moro Elfin Forest
El Moro Elfin Forest is part of the County of San Luis Obispo Parks system. The name “Elfin Forest” comes from the short stature of the Coast Live Oaks, which are stunted by the local environment. In the center of the Forest is an easily walkable wooden boardwalk loop with beautiful views of Morro Bay and the surrounding landscape. It is a unique coastal ecosystem with roughly 200 native plants that support a variety of wildlife.
